The Nest has been at the heart of the Myatt’s Field Park community for over 25 years. Created by parents, for parents and not for profit.

We are small enough to be homely and unique enough to inspire your child’s creativity. We believe that the arts and play are central to building curiosity and lifelong learners. Nest children (Nesties) and their parents value the lifelong friendships that are built in this special space. A small enchanted corner of Longfield Hall that fires a child’s imagination. We have secure gardens on site which children are free to explore, as well as being a short skip to glorious Myatt’s Field Park for teacher-led discovery.

Established at Longfield Hall in 1992,the nursery is situated in Longfield Hall, which is a Grade II listed and also home to the McAlpine Ballet School. It offers a home-from-home environment with a playground, vegetable garden, art room and playroom, where children learn through play based activities, including French, Drama and Dance, Cooking, Computer classes and Forest School. We have termly outings to PYO Farms in Kent and Surrey, the west end Theater, the LSO at the Barbican, and to the London Museums.
