The Nest Pre-School CIC, is an Arts-Based, community, not-for-profit, parent run pre-school, established at Longfield Hall in 1992. We welcome 2 year olds in our Nursery and Pre-School children from 3-5 yrs.

Open term time- 38 weeks, Full Day Care 8.30-3pm

Sessional Day Care: 9-12 & 12-3pm or a full day 9-3 pm

Breakfast club: 8:30 to 9 am £ 5

Unfunded am/pm 3 hrs 9-12/12-3 sessions cost £30 each.
Discount will be applied on more than 2 full day sessions 

Funded children have the Option of attending Classes: Mon-Fri @ the cost of £8/class or £40/week.

15 hour Universal Government funded place are available for eligible 2 + 3 + 4 years old’s Mon-Fri.

30 Hours Government Funded Place for eligible 3 + 4 years old’s from 9-3pm Mon – Fri.

Parents who only want the universal 15 hours free entitlement must not go on the website. This is still an automatic entitlement for 3 and 4 year old’s.

If you are eligible for 30 hours childcare HMRC will be issue you with an identification number for the child (DERN).

This is Your validity code.

3.      NOTE: If the parents have more than one child, for example, twins, they will need to have TWO DERN numbers, one for each child.

4.      Parents must will bring their DERN number to The Nest Pre-School

5.      When parents bring their reference (DERN) number, the provider will use the spreadsheet above to record the following details

i.      DERN number this is the number the parent will bring to you

ii.      Name of parent who is registered

iii.      National Insurance number of registered parent

iv.      The name of the child

v.       The child’s date of birth (DOB)
Parents are prompted to update their information on a 3mthly basis by HMRC to determine on going eligibility for 30 hours funding.

Opening Days: Mon-Fri 8.30 – 3.00  (AM sessions 9.00-12.00, PM sessions 12.00-15.00)

Breakfast Available: 8.30 – 9.00 am
